Delete your account

In the app

Open Pocket Engineer and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom.
Tap Delete account, read what will be deleted, and confirm.
Sign in again when asked. This confirms it is really you.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in Google Play → Subscriptions, or you will keep being charged.

If you no longer have the app

Email pocketengineerlabs@gmail.com from the email address of your Pocket Engineer account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We will confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted, and when

A team you own	Closed: the team's data is deleted and members lose access. The app asks you to confirm.

What is kept, and for how long

Team records (work orders, approvals) you worked on in someone else's team belong to that organization. Your name and email are removed from them; the records themselves are deleted on the normal schedule, 90 days after the work is finished.
Free-trial protection: a one-way hash of your email address and a device identifier are kept for 90 days, so the free trial cannot be claimed again by re-creating the account. They cannot be turned back into your email.
Crash reports are kept by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days, usage analytics by Google Analytics for up to 2 months. Neither contains your name or email.
Google Play keeps its own record of your purchases under its own terms.
